"The Preston Police Department was given the opportunity to take on a Humane Society dog
for the purpose of starting a K-9 narcotics detection program. For this task there was only
one person in my opinion on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that had the experience and
expertise to completely train the dog to police K-9 standards; Wayne Collins of Collins K-9,
Inc.. I can say without a doubt that Mr. Collins truly has compassion about the dogs and his
standards as "The Preston Police Department was given the opportunity to take on a
Humane Society dog for the purpose of starting a K-9 narcotics detection program. For a
trainer. Mr. Collins gives 110 percent of his time with all of the police K-9's that he trains.
Without Mr Collins' training and insight the Preston Police Department's K-9 program would
not have succeeded; the K-9 is now certified and working the streets. I would Highly
recommend Mr. Collins K-9 services and feel confident that which ever task is at hand would
be done to the strictest level of competence."
